Former West Indies captain Darren Sammy is all set to take over as head coach of the Check group too, including to his tasks because the coach of the ODI and T20I groups. Sammy, a two-time ICC Males’s T20 World Cup-winning captain, has been head coach of the West Indies’ white-ball groups since Could 2023.
