Deion Sanders rips TV executives for Colorado’s late matchup vs Kansas State: ‘Half of America is asleep’


Coach Prime is just not too happy with Colorado’s primetime matchup this week. 

Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes, after a restful bye, return this week for a Massive 12 matchup in opposition to Kansas State on Saturday evening, however the timing of this weekend’s recreation left the top coach asking, “Who does that to us?”

“Who does that to us? Who does that,” Sanders requested relating to the ten:15 p.m. ET kickoff throughout Thursday’s episode of the Colorado Soccer Coaches Present.

“Who has the facility to take a seat up there and say ‘Yeah, I’m going to make them play at 8:15 (native time)?'”

Host Mark Johnson pointed the finger at tv networks, including that “that is what occurs whenever you’ve obtained a program that everybody desires to see.” 

“However how silly is that? How silly is that,” Sanders continued. “It’s not sensible for a tv government to say we’re going to place this recreation on presently since you’re serious about eyeballs. You’re serious about promoting merchandise on the commercials. You’re serious about all that. Why would you do it at the moment when half of America is asleep.”

Colorado is 2-0 in league play for the primary time since 2020, following an additional time victory over Baylor, which marked the Buffaloes’ first Massive 12 matchup in 14 years. They adopted that up with one other league win at Central Florida the place they rushed for a season-best 128 yards. 

The Buffaloes (4-1) need to enhance their league file once they host No. 18 Kansas State on Saturday.

The Wildcats (4-1) return to Folsom Subject for the primary time since 2010. Kansas State can also be coming off a bye week.
