After merging the XFL and USFL, the new-look United Soccer League (UFL) is ready to kick off later this month. However apparently, Larry David will not be keen on goalposts on soccer fields.
The actor and comic supplied up a suggestion for the UFL as its season-opener looms. Throughout a current look on the “Wealthy Eisen Present,” David stated he had contacted UFL co-owner Dwayne Johnson to attempt to persuade him to take away goalposts from the taking part in surfaces throughout the league.
“I heard about this UFL and I believed ‘Let me discuss to any person within the UFL,'” Larry stated. “So, my agent received me on the telephone with Dwayne Johnson. He known as me, and we had a dialog. He didn’t know what I used to be asking, however he was good sufficient to name again.”

The Rock jokingly addressed the state of affairs by taking to X, saying they’d had “a spirited and really productive dialog” about David’s displeasure with goalposts and area purpose kicks.
“I did not know that additional level was already within the XFL . . . that there have been no additional factors from kicks,” David advised Eisen. The XFL’s extra-point guidelines will carry over to the UFL.

The XFL guidelines didn’t permit groups to kick additional factors after they scored a landing. The scoring workforce should as a substitute resolve to run a play that might add both one, two or three factors to their rating.
If a workforce crosses the purpose line from the two-yard line, one level will likely be tacked on to their rating, three factors are added for scoring from the five-yard line and three further factors are added to the scoreboard for changing from the ten-yard line.

In the NFL, groups might elect to kick for an additional level or line up close to the purpose line and run a play from scrimmage and try a two-point conversion following a landing.
Regardless that David acknowledged that he hadn’t been conscious, the extra-point guidelines from the XFL will carry over to the brand new league.
