Steelers offensive deal with Broderick Jones had time after Pittsburgh’s 27-24 loss to the undermanned Colts on Sunday.
Jones, the Steelers’ 2023 first-round pick of Georgia, hit again at critics who roasted him for what they thought was poor play towards Indianapolis.
“lol come present me the way it’s achieved then,” Jones wrote, including a crying-laughing emoji, in response to somebody who mentioned to get him off of the Steelers on X.
“Come present me how you can do it,” Jones replied when one other individual mentioned he “completely sucks.”
When somebody wrote, “Broderick jones f–king sucks,” Jones replied, “I get it from you.”
One other individual referred to as Jones a “bust” and he replied with, “Lol you don’t know [s–t] about soccer I’m satisfied.”
“Bro you may’t be severe proper now!? Go watch some movie and work [the f–k] you doing on socials,” one other individual wrote, including a clown emoji.
“You doing the identical factor as me tho,” Jones replied with just a few crying-laughing emojis.
The Steelers’ offense couldn’t discover a rhythm and so they had no reply for the Colts’ run sport.
Jones, who mentioned he was not in the suitable mindset, didn’t communicate with reporters after the Steelers’ loss at Lucas Oil Stadium.
His frustration clearly boiled over after he confronted scrutiny for his efficiency towards the Broncos in Week 2.
The 23-year-old dedicated three penalties on a single second-quarter drive and was subsequently benched for the remainder of the sport — dropping his beginning spot to rookie Troy Fautanu.
The Steelers returned to Jones after Fautanu suffered a season-ending dislocated kneecap that can require surgical procedure to deal with ligament harm.
The Steelers (3-1) face the Cowboys (2-2) in Pittsburgh on Sunday, Oct. 6.
