Victor Wembanyama, Chet Holmgren lead NBA’s All-Rookie First Crew

San Antonio Spurs middle Victor Wembanyama and Oklahoma Metropolis Thunder middle Chet Holmgren headlined the NBA’s All-Rookie workforce picks, receiving first-team votes on all 99 ballots.

The primary-team honor caps a sterling postseason awards run for Wembanyama. He received the Rookie of the 12 months award unanimously earlier this month and completed second to Minnesota Timberwolves middle Rudy Gobert in Defensive Participant of the 12 months voting. The All-Rookie groups, like different awards, are voted on by sportswriters and broadcasters.

Wembanyama led all rookies in scoring (21.4 PPG) and rebounds (10.6) and led the NBA in blocks per recreation (3.6). The second workforce consisted of Mavericks middle Dereck Energetic II, Houston Rockets wing Amen Thompson, Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George, Thunder wing Cason Wallace and Memphis Grizzlies wing GG Jackson II. Jackson was the one member of both All-Rookie workforce not drafted within the first spherical; the Grizzlies took him forty fifth final June.

Trayce Jackson-Davis practically made the All-Rookie Second Crew however earned one level much less (42) than Jackson (43). Jackson made 4 fewer ballots however obtained 5 first-team votes, whereas Jackson-Davis was on the second workforce on all 42 ballots he appeared.
