Collins retired from the match in a detailed battle. Swiatek was main 6-2, 1-6, 4-1 when Collins wanted a medical timeout over an injured abdomen muscle. After the match, Collins stated she accused Swiatek of being “insincere” about her harm.

Collins and Swiatek have been seen in a heated post-match dialog. When requested about it, Swiatek instructed reporters to ask the American star.
